No Excuses

Sorry for the lack of blogging. I have no excuses for my behavior. I will only say that I am amazed at anyone who has more than two children and stays on top of life! Not that it is really that hard, two kids take every free minute that you have and by the time they're finally in bed I'm ready to do things for myself. You know, the things such as exercise, shower, eat, read, sleep... the basics of life that I never get to do when they're awake. Maybe this actually gets easier to do earlier in the day as the youngest one gets older and more independent. For now I'm sorry for anyone who surprises me and stops by without calling. My house may be a disaster, I may smell like two-day-old spit-up, my hair may be very scary, but at least the kids are fed and happy. I absolutely love being a mom.

Hannah's Photo Shoot

These are some of the pictures that Uncle Chris took of Hannah while we were in Utah. Thanks Chris for taking such great pictures for us!

Hannah was looking through a book to find the "right page" so that she could sing with the Tabernacle Choir on Sunday morning while watching General Conference. She just sat there and sang and sang while flipping through pages.

Birthday Wishes

Yep, I turned two years old this year! It was wonderful to spend time with family for my birthday. Thanks everyone for making it so special!
Here are a couple of pictures of our happy Jacob.

Cookies

Grandma Powell made her delicious sugar cookies with the kids. They had a great time helping and an even better time eating them!

Grandpa & His Grandkids

Grandpa Powell spent the entire week antagonizing, tickling and teasing the three amigos. All four of them were in heaven all week long.

Dinosaur Museum

"Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" This was a star room that Grandma walked through with the kids maybe six times and they sang the star song every time all the way through. As you can see, the girls were thrilled with it and didn't want to leave. I think Grandma had fun too.

"Erosion" was the name of this hands on activity. It was a channel full of sand, moving water, and plastic dinosaurs. The kids played here for a 1/2 hour and had a great time getting messy.
