Privacy is the ability of an individual to reveal themself selectively.

Privacy is the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves or information about themselves and thereby reveal themselves selectively. Privacy can be seen as an aspect of security. Privacy may be voluntarily sacrificed, normally in exchange for perceived benefits and very often with specific dangers and losses, although this is a very strategic view of human relationships. Information which is voluntarily shared and is later stolen or misused can lead to identity theft. (definition taken from Wikipedia)

"More Medicine!"

We have finally gotten a cold this year. Hannah is the lucky one to get it started in our house. Hopefully, with some amazing luck, no one else will get it. Well, I don't really care if Brent or I get is as long as Jacob doesn't. It's one of those really nasty colds, with the watery eyes, constant sneezing, snot running into her mouth, coughing so hard she throws up, etc. If you can't tell by her pictures, she feels terrible. Not terrible enough to "call" Grandma on her toy phone and say very enthusiastically "Grandma, I'm sick!" She loves when it's medicine time, but it doesn't really seem to be doing her much good. These are pictures of Hannah WITH medicine in her!

Here is my poor Hannah after we tried to make her look presentable for the day. We all know how it feels. Don't you just feel sorry for her?

Eight Weeks Old!

Jacob is now eight weeks old and growing like crazy! He is weighing in at a hefty 12 pounds and is 22 inches long. That means that he has gained four pounds in five weeks. Wow!
Hannah and Jacob.

Here is a cute video of Jacob giving his Mama a smile. If you don't want to hear me "cooing" at him just turn down your volume.

Jacob's Blessing Day

Here's our handsome Jacob in his blessing outfit. Grandma Luke made his suit and Grandma Powell made the blanket. Brent gave Jacob a nice blessing and it was wonderful to have so much of our family involved. Thanks to all of you who came up to Idaho to enjoy this special day with us.

This is as close as Grandma Powell got to be to Jacob since she was coming down with a nasty cold. Poor Grandma didn't even get to hold her grandbaby.
